To support the squadron and cadets, we have a team of dedicated and hard working adult volunteers who give up their own personal time to help give back to our young people. The staff team is made up of people from all different walks of life and experiences with each member bringing something unique to our squadron.
There are three tiers of adult volunteers but all are as important as each other as without any one of them, the squadron could not function. All adult volunteers start off as Civilian Instructors with these making up the majority of the adult volunteers in the RAF Air Cadets. Adult volunteers also have the option of proceeding down a uniform path as either a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) or to get a Cadet Forces Commission and become a Commissioned Officer.
